How kids can Donate to Charity while Buying their Clothes/Shoes

Blake Mycoskie, in 32 years of living his life he said he never imagined that he will be the “Chief Shoe Giver”. He founded Tom’s Shoes in 2006 after his visit in Argentina. He saw a lot of children wearing no shoes to protect their feet, and he realized many children in different parts of the globe are growing up with barefoot which could lead them to be at risk with soil-transmitted diseases. Many children also can’t attend school only because they have no shoes, which is a part of their uniform. So Mycoskie realized he wanted to involve his self into shoe giving that will help a lot of children with no shoes. He came up with a business with a One for One Movement. Later that year Mycoskie went back to Argentina bringing along his family and friends and 10,000 pair of shoes for the children.

Before Tom’s shoes, Mycoskie was actually a college dropped out who entered in a laundry business, and he is also running a software company providing online education. Mycoskie started Tom’s Shoes initially targeting to help 250 children and he never expected that his shoes will be a start of a new fashion statement. Since when he created these shoes in Argentina, he modeled it after the farmer’s shoes and now it’s being worn by many people including celebrities.

Tom’s Shoes are very comfortable and affordable plus these shoes are wired to One for One Movement to help children. For every pair of shoes you purchase, a pair of shoe will be donated to a child who needs a shoe across the globe.
